Jalema B.V., a family-run business, established in 1947, is a leader in the physical information management business in Europe. Time and space-saving information storage and retrieval is the cornerstone of all company activities. Jalema develops, produces and sells innovative archiving products, services and systems that meet the requirements established by the government for sustainable purchasing practices.
Next to an effective and cost-cutting range of files and folders, cabinets, racks and accessories for internal and external physical archiving, Jalema also manages third-party archives, which the customer can access digitally. Jalema also supplies storage, archiving and presentation products for the retail market.
Jalema works according to the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) and CSR sustainability principles and has divided its expertise into three specialist divisions:
- Filing Systems (physical archiving, storage and information systems);
- Jalema Archiving Specialists (external archive management);
- Office Supplies (sale of office supply products to retailers).
Jalema has offices in Reuver and Hoogezand, the Netherlands, and subsidiaries in Belgium, France, Germany, Indonesia, and the US.
