Two open days are organized by the city of Venlo for their inhabitants and other enthusiasts to visit the C2C inspired city hall. Between 11.00 and 16.00 o’clock on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th of October everybody is welcome. These open days are organized in the end of the C2C Year in Venlo.
The C2C year, of the city of Venlo, started in October 2016. The official opening of the City hall of Venlo was on October 14th. During the two open days in 2016, 7.000 visitors have visited the city hall. In the meanwhile 17.000 people had a guided tour in this building, from students to businesses and international groups. The interest for this extraordinary building, which has received an international Architectural award, continues to grow.
Tips for the visitors
In addition to the previous open days, the city of Venlo will show more than the building itself. They would like to inspire the visitors and give them insides and tips to start or continue a more sustainable life. That is why they have also stands, workshops and sessions. For example about a healthy indoor climate, generating and reducing energy, disconnect your rain water collection and other tips. Also, there are activities for children to learn about sustainability in a playful way.

You can park you car in the parking garage beneath the city hall (Maaswaard) or you can park you car for free at the Kazerne Kwartier (Garnizoenweg 3, a 7 minutes walk to the city hall Venlo).
